couple DL questions

It's been a while since been to DL . First off I have stayed on site before and BWPPI. My question is would you suggest BWPPI or Tropicana? Also can you still use fastpasses after the time allowed? Thanks so much

No advice on hotel as I haven't stayed at either (but am trying BWPPI later this month) but NO, you cannot use fast passes after the window any more. Return windows are now pretty strictly enforced. The two parks are also now "connected" so you can't pull a pass in one park if you are already holding one (and still within 2hrs of pulling it) from the other.

There are some other FP changes coming to DLR (look for threads about MaxPass) but exact timelines have not been announced... when are you going?

I have stayed at both and both are fine. I usually choose BWPPI because I know it a little better and I like that they have couches in the room. To me the rooms at BWPPI seems slightly nicer.

The times I have chosen Tropicana are usually when BWWPI does not have availability.

In general one FP at a time (across both parks) and must be used during the return window. FP for shows (World of Color) are more your ticket to see the show and do not count.

We liked the pool and hot tub much better at the Tropicana, and their little store was very convenient for forgotten odds and ends, drinks and coffee. BWPPI had comfortable beds and our rooms were clean, but we didn't enjoy the little pool or hot tub or the included breakfast.
