inspired by a thread on the U.S. comm board, thought this would be fun.

I live in Cornwall, am Cornish and contrary to popular belief we have electricity, telephones and cars!
My father and my brother are NOT the same person :lmao: and we don't all spend every spare minute surfing and sailing (although I wish I did!)

your turn....

hahaha

the first time we went to Florida , and we had gone to Busch gardens, and saw the lovely but smelly! Clydesdale Horses in their stables and as i was walking by i overhead the american voice saying ," yip they still use Clydesdale Horses in Scatland you know, they do all their farming by hand and with the help of horses, you know!" I stopped in my tracks and couldnt speak for laughing, i just wanted to go and say look ive got a mobile phone, and we have electricity and dont chase the haggis up the hills and hey guess what i didnt get here by seagull you know!!!

Well I'm from Liverpool and I do not know how to hot wire a car although I wish I did as I think it would be a handy skill ;)

Im from leeds and I dont have a flat cap or a whippet:rotfl:

Im from Essex and i don't wear white stillettos whilst dancing round my handbag :lmao:

I'm from Staffordshire and must be perfect as I don't know what we are supposed to be stereotyped as!!!!! Must be dumb blondes - I don't know:hippie:

I'm from Suffolk adn I don't know if we have a sterotype either. Perhaps someone can put me right :rotfl:

I am from Wales, I don't get intimate with sheep, nor do I sing in a choir, I don't mine for coal or pot noodles, and I certainly don't know anyone called Mervyn ...

I'm from Kent (well, just outside sarf London really). Kent is known as the garden of England but I'm not sure if there's a "Kent" stereotype. If I've missed if, somebody please let me know!

I'm from Dorset and no, we don't all go round wearing smocks sucking straw and saying ooh-arrrrrr :rotfl2:

And yes, there are actually people under the age of 80 in my town ~ it used to have a bit of a reputation for only being a home to OAPs in bath-chairs!! :rotfl:

:rotfl: Haggis are not beasties that roam the hills with one side of legs shorter than the other ;)

You will if you try it. It's like a dormant instinct in Liverpudlians. Like geese knowing which way south is.

(only kidding:thumbsup2 )

I live in Surrey, we own a small house, the kids go to the local comprehensive and DH doesn't work in the city.

P.S. Don't all Suffolk people live in pink houses?
