We taking my parents to florida for their first ever visit this year. Dad is a big country & western fan, & it is his birthday whilst we are out there, is there anywhere we can go to see a good show or a themed bar/restaurant???
We are staying on site at disney & on i-drive & are not driving so something pretty close to either of these locations would be great :thumbsup2

Also mum wants to book for him to go & watch the funami golf that is on then (sorry i spelt it wrong!) how do we book a ticket for him can we do it before we go or how do we do it when we arrive???
Thanks :teeth:

I agree with Alison on this, you can't get more country & western than Dolly Parton

Here's the link to their website so you can get all the details:

Have a rootin tootin time :thumbsup2

Hi
Dollys show is very slick and good fun.The food is excellent too which isnt always the case at the dinner shows.
Get there early for the pre show as well which is a laugh.
Good luck.

Hi
I'm a big country & western fan and I've been to the dixie stampede which was great fun but if you are looking for country &western that is not it!
Have you thought about the Kissimmee Rodeo? they have music afterwards and is more likely to suit :thumbsup2
there is also a night club called 8 seconds ( which refers to the amount of time a cowboy has to stay on the back of the horse or bull in a rodeo) I have not been here but i know they play country music.
you can try this link http://www.cmt.com and search to see if anyone will be in concert while you are visiting.

Don't know about C + W places but if you're hiring a car check out wpcv radio station 97.5fm on your radio. Also K92fm is good.

THANKS everyone for the info, i will look into it :)

Ooh that would be a good place to shop for his birthday present :)

The shop in Festival Bay is called Sheplers
Here's a link to their web site www.sheplers.com
Don't forget to get a 20% off voucher out of one of the many coupon books you can find throughout the area :thumbsup2
You can also try Greg's on the 192 almost opposite Wal Mart.

Greggs is good as well, they are on the 192 near Medieval Knights on the other side of the road and on I-Drive, good quailty stuff, and look out for the 10% off vouchers in the leaflets etc.
