Country Inn & Suites anyone?

Got a last minute package booked in a fortnights time for 7 days and looking at the Country Inn & Suites at Lake Buena Vista. Has anyone stayed there and got any good or bad reviews?

I've stayed there twice, for one night only each time, a couple of years apart. The first time it was new and very impressive. The second time it was okay but not as impressive which is understandable.

The location is great, comp breakfast was also good but I didn't try the pool. I like the fact that it has internal hallways. I believe the offer free transport to the parks but again, I didn't use it.

I'd stay there again for accommodation which was clean and comfortable and a great LBV location.

ive stayed there twice, great hotel, free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cookies in reception all day long.
Great free breakfast.

If youve got kids try to get a free upgrade to a kids suite, has bunk beds, tv, video and play station for them

Pool and gym good, fantastic restaurants close by.
Try Chevys, steak n shake, Tony Romas, not forgetting Orlando Ale house, this is one of our favourites and seems to get missed by alot of folk. Recommended to us by a local and they were right.

Another vote here for the Orlando Ale House at LBV The Tony Romas close to the County Inn & Suites had closed down when we were there in March. I had one of my worst meals ever at this location so wasn't surprised.

This is a good clean basic motel. It has a good pool, which is very clean, but small. It's usually empty of guests, we had it to ourselves loads of times in the afternoon. You can also use the pool at the safari next door, without any problems.

Breakfast is nothing fancy, it is adequate and will fill you up. Continental type with hot waffles. There is fruit breads, cakes, yogarts, ceral etc.

The sizzler in front of the hotel is very nice, we eat there loads, as it was handy.

You will get a small fridge micro and coffee warmer in your room. There is also a washer and ice machine on each floor.

The reception people are very nice and you get free cookies everyday.

I would stay there again. Have a look at trip advisor, that's where I found it for us. Last year we paid 400.00 for the room for 2 weeks.

For MK the quickest way is down the I4 and pick up world drive. Don't go through downtown, too many lights. Use downtown for MGM and water parks only.

There is a walmart 15 mins away in the car, under the i4 and down the 535.

Overall fab location, would stay here again, if we were looking for motel type accomodation. This year we are staying in a house, which is a lot more expensive, but as we are going for three weeks, I wanted somewhere where we could chill out more. Last year, we spent most of the time in the parks and not in the room.

Thanks again everyone, a friend also recommended Sizzlers so we will certainly eat there at least once.

As there is "free highspeed internet access in each room" I was thinking of taking the laptop with me, does anyone know if this will be a wireless connection or will I need to take any cables with me?
