We've not stayed at the Regal Sun. Is Country Inn by Carlson the Country Inn & Suites? If so, we've not stayed at the one in Florida, but we have stayed at plenty of them across the country following our son while wrestling from the age of 8 until just now when his career ended at the age of 21. We have found them to be very nice, clean and very friendly. Hope this helps.

I know that Regal sun gets quite the ribbing here from other posters, but I have enjoyed staying there for 2 trips - one in Dec. and another in Oct. of last year. I love how close it is to Downtown Disney and the pool area is great. Don't like the resort and parking fee but I understand others there charge one too. The rooms are ho-hum but clean and the shuttle/bus to the parks was fine too. Good thing about it being so close to DTD is just grabbing a Disney bus from a park to there and you can walk over to it. Hope this helps some
