Morocco, with respect to the countries cultural/religous beliefs. That's it!

Morocco doesn't light up because of religious reasons. (The Morocco 'symbol' is a prayer tower.)

Norway also doesn't "light up" during Illuminations.

Not sure about Morocco but Norway doesn't light up because it wasn't part of EPCOT when the original Illuminations played. The original Illuminations would light up each country and play music from that specific region, it was very cool. I'm not entirely sure when it changed, but I remember seeing the old Illuminations in 1994, and the new one in 2000.

Norway and Morocco don't. I know Morocco doesn't because of it being a religious symbol / bldg type thing.

I don't remember why Norway doesn't but I do believe it has more than to do with not being part of the original Illuminations.

Someone has to know. Now I am curious.

Norway was added in 1989, and I think Illuminations started after that (1991?)

The simple answer is.. only the original countries were fitted with lights. They figured why spend the money to do it with norway. and keep the lights as a symbol in a way.
