Hey Everyone,

I was wondering how I place a counter on my message...the wedding is October 2 and the flight leaves October 4 and I want to see how many days...minutes seconds there are! lol!

I LOVE planning trips! Right now I'm working on planning for our trip to the Atlanta Zoo and Stone Mountain next year, since my Disney trip is 2 years away still. I can't wait to visit their zoo and the cool thing is...I GET IN FREE! I'm an employee of our local zoo here and there are some WONDERFUL perks that come with that!

So you never did mention where you're getting married, what type of wedding it is and all that fun stuff! How many people ya got comin'? I LOVE to hear about Disney wedding since I never got to have one and never will have one, a vow renewal that is! It's just waaaaaaaaaay out of my budget and I look at the money that would be spent...could go soooooo many other places!

Thank you for being interested...lol..it's so nice to share with someone! My wedding is being held in Toronto Canada (can't do disney either) at a hall called Lavedette on October 2 for approximently 240 people. This is really small for my side of the wedding (if you can believe it!) but really really big for my fiancee's side!

We will be staying in a hotel for our wedding night and the next night and then leaving for Disney World on October 4! Our Flight is at 2 AM!! Ouch!

I just got my engagement pictures done (lol..better late then never!). Instead of loosing weight, I seem to have put on it...another ouch...but I think it's the pressure of planning a wedding and my first year of teaching!

Hey Josephine!!

Oh I LOVE to hear about weddings no matter where they are and the Lavedette looks incredible!! You're wedding is going to be spectacular! What's your dress look like? How about your bride's maids? I'm so nosy, I can't help it!

It was weird you know, one day last year I was just sitting on my couch watching a movie while DH played a video game and out of nowhere I asked him could we renew our wedding vows on our 15th and then once again honeymoon in Disney. He paused his game for a quick second and said sure! I about fell off the sofa!
We decided not to do the "church" thing as neither one of us has a religion as man would put it, but we are believers in the Messiah and our Heavenly Father, so we decided to renew our vows on one of the beaches here where we live. A lot cheaper that way and I just want something small and simple with my closest friends and family there. I haven't really started planning yet as we've still got well over a year, but I will get things rolling by May of next year because before we know it.....2006 will be here! I do have a lot of things in my head, so when the time comes I can get it all down on paper and get things rolling. One of my friends whom I met in church two years ago said she would take our pictures for us as her wedding present to us for free! She's an EXCELLENT photographer and I'm really excited about that. I decided to have our reception at one of the restaurants on the beach as it's cheaper than having to pay for something catered. I mean I'm going to drop $1600 at Disney for 7 days and 6 nights, so I've got to watch what I spend on the renewal you know. I have another friend whom I've known for 4 years said she's going to make our cake for us.....for free! Isn't that awesome???!! Now....if I can just find someone to pay for our trip then.....BINGO!!!!
Thanks for asking Josephine about my plans. Not quite as exciting as yours, but I'm still happy it's happening. DH and I never had the big wedding when we wed 13 years ago we did the courthouse thing as he was military, so now is my time to have something close to what I wanted. My parents are both gone now along with one of my sisters, but I know they will be there in spirit and that's one reason I chose the beach to renew our vows. Does that make any sense?

I think your vow renewal sounds amazing! You know I think your plans sound just perfect! Congratulations on your 13 years together! I hope to make it to my vow renewal one day too! Doing the honeymoon in Disney is nice too What a perfect way to end the vow renewal!

It's so hard to not have those you love with you on a special day! But remember, that like you said, they are there with you in spirit. Although it may be hard to feel their pressence, they are there, right with you smiling down! I lost my best friend in a car accident (hit by a drunk driver) and I will miss her so at the wedding, but I know part of her is there with me that day!

I love small weddings by the way! My family usually has 450-500 at a weding, so I am happy my fiance has a smaller family so we only will have 200-240! Thank God!

My engagement pictures will not be ready for 2 weeks, but I will be starting a website very soon with more pictures of the bridal shower and of our wedding party and such!

For now, here is my bridal dress (but my sleeves will be fitted to teh body) and the dress I am wearing on the honeymoon (only 30 bucks if you can believe that and it will be the perfect thing for a girl who wanted something a little less traditional for her wedding..but with a traditional family, couldn't get it! LOL)

PM is very simple. There are some boxes on the bottom of everyone's posts...some say EMAIL, another will say SEARCH, there's a couple of others, but also, one says PM. Just click that box on my posts and it will take you to a screen where you can PM me. I will PM you just to see if you have an idea. To find your PMs go the USER CP screen and you should see them there if they don't pop up while you're online.
