I've yet to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge, but the CS meals from my previous trip that stood out were Cosmic Ray's at MK and Flame Tree Bbq at AK.

Pecos Bills in Frontier Land in MK
Starlight Rays Cafe in Tomorrowland in MK
Earl of Sandwich @ Downtown disney
Pizzafari at AK
and.....thats prob it...we spend lots of time at MK,cause its hard to get a bad meal!

Loved our meal at the Main Street Bakery sandwich, carrot cake and drink

Hated our meal from Peco Bill's, we couldn't even get our 5yo to eat his fries. If you can get to Cosmic Ray's try that one instead.

The Mara at AKL gets really good reviews (fried shrimp platter, home made soups). I have not been there yet.

Resort CSs seem to do a good job. We really liked our meals at CBR.

The Mara is great for quick service...The seating area is very large and the choices are great...There are tons of quick items to grab that can count as a snack...They also have a large selection of hot food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner...I provided links to the menus at Mara...But keep in mind there are many more choices that they have that are just not listed.

I actually really enjoy the shrimp platter and the whole wheat pizza...The kids also really enjoy the pizza.

Top picks: #1 - Pecos Bills; #2 - Cosmic Rays, #3 - Pizzafari (esp. now that childrens' menu now includes pizza).

The AKL has Mara. That is like a smaller version of the food courts at the value and moderate resorts. We liked it and had no complaints. It had a good enough variety. But what you really should plan on doing is eating more than once at Boma. Don't be afraid if you have picky eaters (we take the prize for that), there's a great variety here, esp. for breakfast. Next to Chef Mickey's, it is our favorite place to eat in Disney World.
