Counter Service

Taste Piolts Grill at DCA is my fav.

Corn Dog Wangon on Main Street is good to as is Bangle BBQ.

Tomorrowland Terrace has a great breakfast but Lunch/dinner food is pretty much the same thing you can find at Hungry Bear and Village Haus (also has pizza)

I like, the Tomorrowland Terrace, Bengal BBQ, and Hungry Bear for quick counter service. The Tomorrowland Terrace have really good breakfasts.
:thumbsup2

It's in Disney CA but the Pacific Wharf is awesome!

how much is breakfast at tomorrowland terrace?

Love the Rancho in DL for good Mexican food.
And love Pacific Wharf Cafe in DCA for yummy soup and salad bread bowls.
I'm not sure how much breakfast is in Tomorrowland, but I'd guess around $8-9. Check the menus on All Ears for exact prices.

I agree about the breakfast in TT (not lunch, though, sorry). I recall it was like $6.79, fairly inexpensive for DL and a fairly large serving that was fresh and hot. We were pleasantly surprised. Enjoy.;)

Don't go at the end of breakfast service though. Last time we ate there they gave us fries with our breakfast because they were out of their very yummy breakfast potatoes!

Pizza Port is good but I would avoid Pizza Oh Mow Mow in CA, it wasn't nearly as good. Altho DBF really liked his BBQ Chicken pizza, which was tasty!

In CA we like Taste Pilot's Grill a lot, in DL we like Hungry Bear, Rancho and PP.

Here's another vote for Hungry Bear. Nice and shady, plus the burgers are pretty good.:thumbsup2

Avoid Village Haus. It gets so crowded at lunch time and the food is only so-so.

great replies every one. were gonna do three lunches in dl. i think one will def be in tomorrowland terrace. were still brainstorming the other two. one question about breakfast. we cant choose between ihop and tomorrowland help . weve never been to either . thanks.

IHOP has lots of fun but very fattening pancake breakfasts. As far as lunch counter service try the Bengal Barbeque. Seating can be a problem there but oh my their skewers are wonderful. I love the bacon wrapped asparagas. They have chicken and beef skewers that are great too! My kids love the Tiger Tails I think they are called. They are lie bread sticks. All in all good. It is is front of Indiana Jones ride.

I love the pasta at Redd Rockets (aka Pizza Port). The chicken fusili is especially good. If you're in for spaghetti and meatballs, the kids meal is a pretty good portion. My DD loves going there.
I also ditto Racho.
I love Ralph Brennen's Jazz kitchen, even the "quick service" is great. The gumbo is the best out of any of the places.

Whitewater is my favorite place. Not IN DL, but it is at the Grand. Total walking distance from the DCA gates for the Grand.

RRPP is good. They are really nice about special orders on things, too. Their line can sometimes be taxing.

I second Whitewater in the GCH (if you are somewhere in DCA and it's convenient...) it was cheap, quiet, and a very nice break. It's a hidden gem for sure. Modified counter service, some items you can grab and go (salads, sandwiches, desserts, etc), or order at the cashier (burgers, chicken sandwiches, nachos, etc) and the staff will give you a number and bring the food right to your table. There is indoor and outdoor seating there (and a number of cute wild cats to see!). And, I found out, one of the only places anywhere in DLR where you can get free pop refills! If you don't stay at the DLR hotels you can't get back INTO the park the way you get out of it, but for us it was okay because the plan was to shop in DTD afterward. The exit from DCA into GCH is right by the Whitewater Snacks. You just go through the tunnel and make a quick left.

I like Stage Door snacks in Frontierland...it's off to and almost behind the Golden Horseshoe. We ate there twice actually, both times with NO line. Compare that to the long lines at the Hungry Bear and it's worth it even though the menu is limited. I got chicken strips both days, but they were big meaty ones. You could get apples or french fries with and sit on the shared patio by the other cafes along ROM. My kids were totally satisfied with it especially considering the lack of line. My husband and I shared the chicken strips, it's a pretty big portion.

Last year when we went we were able to use the GC DCA entrance, we just used used our receipt from Whitewater along with our park hopper pass and didn't have a problem at all.

That's good to know for next time!! We luckily planned our exit that way but if you DID just want to eat lunch, that makes it work.
