Counter service spots in Futureworld, Epcot

Hi guys! Things have been crazy around here, so I haven't been "dissing", but I've pulled out all my stuff for our upcoming trip and have begun choosing quick meal places. I'm happy with all my ADR's for our big meal of the day, and anything else is sort of "loosy-goosey", but I like to have some place in mind for a counter meal.

Any ideas/reviews of counter service spots in Futureworld? Has anyone enjoyed a lunch at the Electric Umbrella?

We ate at The Electric Umbrella last Thursday. We really liked it.

We used 4 counter service credits & got a hamburger, a turkey wrap, chicken tenders, & a kid's meal of some sort. And lots of french fries. We each got a dessert also (comes with the meal plan) .It was too much food for the 4 of us.

**We always ate our counter service meals early, around 11:00 a.m.
This way we avoided any lines & it worked out great because it was really "brunch" for us. We never had any breakfasts. We were usually still full each morning from the large dinners from the previous evening.
Go early! The lunch lines later are verrrryyy long.

We've had lunch at Electric Umbrella, and it wasn't bad, but when we're in Futureworld we really prefer Seasons in The Land. There are a lot of unique choices there, and everything we've tried has been delicious.

In all our trips, we have found that there is really only one place to eat CS in Futureworld: Fountain View. It is really a bakery, and you get a nice view of the fountain show. It's near Club Cool. (The new version of Club Cool is, incidently, HORRIBLE!!!! All the fun is gone!!!) In Epcot, your best bet is really to eat around the world.

I agree Mickey. Fountain View is good for breakfast and the food court in the Land is ok, but there are several very good CS restaurants around the WS.

Tangerine Cafe is probably our favorite CS restaurant in all WDW. Fish & Chips from the window in the United Kingdom is always good.

Yum, yum, yum...my favorite CS spot in Future World is most DEFINITELY The Land. I just LOVE their food! Very good stuff.

We ate at Electric Umbrella in April and we loved it. The food is very tastey. I had the turkey wrap which was excellent. I can't wait to go back and get another one. I'm very picky about my coleslaw and the one that was served with my turkey wrap was out of this world. I would definitely recommend this spot. Enjoy your trip.

Another vote for the food court in the Land, Sunshine something. And by the way the first place I ever ate at in Epcot was the Electric Umbrella & I thought it was good.

Thanks, folks. I am planning to stir clear of the Land food court because last year, it seemed mobbed (I guess because of Soarin'?).

I agree that WS has many great lunch spots - and so does my family! That's why I'm looking for another option in Futureworld. Seems just when I'm famished and ready to keel over, the family wants to lunch far, far away from where my tired tootsies are standing.

I asked about Electric Umbrella because that turkey sandwich and pineapple cole slaw sounded good (and there were plenty of good old boring stuff for everyone else).
