We are not far away from our DW trip (early Oct). We are all set with our ADRs and I think we will be happy with those. We dont want to spend a LARGE fortune on dinners, just a small fortune, so I was hoping for some suggestions on some of the better counter service restaurants in all 4 parks. The books and web sites just seem to say most are ok. Is that everyone's experience here?

Our favorite counter-service places:

MK - Pecos Bills (we love the build-your-own burger bar and the chicken salad! I add stuff to my salad from the bar too!)

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons Food Court

DD - Wolfgang Puck's Express (pizza and pasta are both very good!)

AK - Tusker House

Here are our favs, we find the portions to be very large so we share alot (esp for lunch)

MK - Peco Bills has a great chicken wrap and Cosmic Rays has a wonderful chicken caesar salad...both have the build a burger bar and DH loves that

EPCOT - We love the rotisserie chicken platter from Tangierine Cafe

AK - we share a BBQ plate from the Flame Tree BBW, the portions are very large there

DTD - Love Earl of Sandwich

I think the prices are pretty good at these places, DH and I always share a large drink

MK- Columbia Harbour House is my personal favorite. The lighthouse(hummus) sandwich is delicious. The salads and soups are good too. Cosmic Rays is a close second. The Caesar salad is delicious and would easily feed two people.

Epcot- Sunshines Seasons has a wide selection of food. Very fresh and tasty. They have a great selection of desserts too.

MGM- I enjoyed ABC Commissary. One place I would avoid would be Flatbread Grill. The choices are very limited and the quality below average.

AK- Tusker House. We had the grilled chicken salad. The dressing was delicious. And the carrot cake was good too.

DTD- Wolfgang Puck Express is our absolute favorite. DH still talks about the Thai Noodle salad and I loved the chicken tenders with garlic mashed potatoes. The flatbread pizza is also good.

My favorites:

MGM: Backlot Express

MK: Columbia Harbour House or Cosmic Ray's

AK: I haven't really eaten anything CS there

DTD: Earl of Sandwich (4.95 per sandwich, good deal, yummy food!)

Epcot: the name of the french bakery escapes me but I really love just about everything they have there. I also like the Cantina outside Mexico and while I haven't eaten there yet- I've taken a look and I think Seasons in The Land looks pretty good!

MK - Pecos Bill's

Epcot - Cantina in Mexico

AK - Pizzafari

MGM - don't care for c.s. here

DD - Earl of Sandwich

MK - Pecos Bills or Harbor House

EPCOT - Tangerine Cafe

Studios - never had CS

AK - Flame Tree

DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express

Thanks for putting it up! I was wondering where we were going to eat our CS meals--this certainly helps!
