We'll be driving past Disney, from Orlando airport to Gulf Coast....

Would like to treat the kids to Mickey Waffles and we'd like eggs/hasbrowns etc.

What resort/restaurant is least out of the way that would give us our Mickey waffle fix??

Thanks,

The Cape May Character breakfast buffet has what you want and has Goofy, Donald and Minnie:thumbsup2 But I have no idea if it is out of your way- I fly in, use ME and the Disney bus system so I have little knowledge of where anything is off the major highways.

Do you want a sit down restaurant or a counter service?
If counter service, I think Saratoga Springs might be the easiest and quickest to get to since it is at DTD, right off of I4.

Sassagoula at Port Orleans French Quarter has mickey waffles on the kids' menu and the bounty platter for adults. I don't know how off the beaten path it is (usually fly in to MCO), but I know it is near DTD, so maybe not too hard to get to.

I just checked the WDW map, and it looks like Pop Century is also just off I4 and easy to get in and out of. They will also have what you want for breakfast.

I believe that you'll enter close to the DTD area, so both of the Port Orleans resorts would work. You could also try the Caribbean Beach Resort. :thumbsup2

You can get Adult sized Mickey Waffles at POFQ. They are listed with either bacon or sausage or fruit on the menu board. But I asked for waffle only last week and got it .
