We plan on doing counter service at lunchtime, so any recommendations would be great. We are looking in both Disneyland park and California Adventure. Thanks!

We love Jolly Holiday for lunch in DL. I keep wanting to try the Red Rose Tavern, but we still haven't made it. The Galactic Grill is pretty good also.

Unfortunately I have nothing for DCA. The day we go there is normally our short day and we pick up Earl of Sandwich on the way back to the hotel. So that's unhelpful....lol

Cozy Cones in DCA! The Bacon Mac n' Cheese is my favourite, but there are others. We also like the Pacific Wharf soup in a bread bowl in DCA.

In Disneyland, Golden Horseshoe Review has chicken nuggets and fish if you are looking for something like that. Not in DCA, but pretty close (across from the Grizzly Rapids' exit) in the GCH, Whitewater Snacks. There is seating indoors and out. A lot of choices and the prices are good. Nachos are yummy. The individual pizza comes with a good sized salad too.

My must do are French market in disneyland and Boardwalk pizza & pasta.

Honorable mention to plaza inn if you like fried chicken.

Also love award wieners in D.C.a. But not sure it's enough for a meal. Might need another snack a couple of hours later.

Avoid Cocina cucamonga. If you want Mexican style we've always had better food at rancho del zocalo.

Another vote for Pacific Wharf at DCA. We like Flo's and Corn Dog Castle too.

Red Rose Tavern, French Market and Plaza are our favorites at DL.

Lucky Fortune cookery in DCA and Rancho Del Zocalo and Plaza Inn at Disneyland. At Plaza Inn, get the fired chicken.

We ate at Plaza Inn, Rancho del Zocalo, and Jolly Holiday, and they were all very good!

Pacific Wharf for sourdough soup bowl (I even had it during a heat wave)

Award wieners has good Portobello sandwich. Our kids liked the hot dogs too. DH had topings on his)

Another vote for Pacific Wharf Cafe, so good! We also enjoyed Red Rose Tavern and Flo’s Diner.

It depends on what you are feeling like! Most of the places pretty much serve the same thing....a few that stand out as serving different items are Rancho del Zocalo at DL.. we LOVE their cheese enchilada plate!..the pacific wharf cafe at DCA..it's literally boudin's and super yummy...and the first time ever this last trip we tried the Lucky Fortune restaurant and that too was surprisingly good as well!

I always get the street tacos at Rancho del Zocalo and they are very good. My wife gets the Tostada Salad with Chicken and she loves it.

In Disneyland we love Rancho Del Zocalo. The food is good and the atmosphere is really nice and relaxing. I usually get the rotisserie chicken.
At DCA we like Lucky Fortune and Paradise Garden Grill.

Jolly Holiday in DL has lots of goodies! Rancho is good and very large portions, so easy to share. (same with Plaza Inn). Have not tried Red Rose , but looks intriguing. French Market is good and the Royal Street Veranda is good.
In DCA, Paradise Garden Grill is a MUST!!! cannot go wrong there! I like the chicken salad at Cocina Cucamonga.......thought Lucky Fortune was not really very good, though.... nothing special and kind of bland.

We love the soup bowl at Pacific Wharf... you can ask for the soup on the side and then munch on the bread bowl separately!

Bengal BBQ in DL is great for some protein... we love their skewers.

Dd loves lucky fortune in DCA too.

Corn dog castle is also a must do for us... the corn dogs are amazing and put every other corn dog you have ever had to shame.

One of my favorite things js watching Radiator Springs from the patio at Flo’s with a glass of wine and some good food :)
