Counter service recommendations please

We leave Sunday for POFQ! We've had our PS's for TS for 60 days at CRT, Ohanna, Sci-FI, 1900 Park Faire, CP and Teppanyaki. I know we are eating CS's at Tusker House at AK and Cosmic Ray's at MK. After reading the boards and studying all menus, I'm still not sure what CS's to use at Epcott and MGM. There are 4 of us including me, DH, DD (age 9) and DS (age 7). What CS's do you recommend at Epcott and MGM?

The only counter service that I would possibly recommend at Epcot would be the sunshine seasons food fair, which is at the land building. It is the only one I have tried there that has decent food. As for MGM, I am at a loss, we havent liked any of the cs there at all, and whatever you do, stay as far away as you can from the abc comissary at MGM, it is horrible. HTH

At MGM, you gotta eat at Pizza Planet, just so you can say you did.

At Epcot, I'd grab something fun around the WS.

Ditto Pizza Planet at MGM. At Epcot Future World, The Land"s food court downstairs. At World Showcase, The American Adventure has indoor dining tables at CS, or our DD enjoyed CS at Japan. There is a cart that sells frozen snow cones downstairs at the entrance. POFQ was the first property we stayed at when our DD was little...that was the first year it opened! Have the original purple mugs from food court. If you can, get bldg. #3. Closer to everything. We now are DVC and heading to BWV end of July. Have fun...try the New Orleans sugar doughnuts for breakfast.

beware the cs were packed last week even at 2 in the afternoon. You really wait along time for food. Kids get whiny- feet start to hurt. Its nuts in there. We ate at Cosmic Ray's, Backlot Express, Electric Umbrella, Everything Pop to name a few. Food is okay and pretty much the same everywhere. Boring. Good luck with the crowds there.

Thanks very much for the CS advice! After the winter we had on Cape Cod, I don't care how hot or crowded Disney will be. I teach high school students so this is the best time of year for us to go; due to snow days, we just got out of school. POFQ here we come!
