Counter service recommendations for MK & HS please!

Looking for counter service recs for MK (2 days) & hollywood studios (1 day) for Lunch and Dinner. We have ADRs for character BFs on 3 mornings.

DH and I are going with our 3 yr old DD and 18 month DS.

At MK I enjoy Columbia Harbour House and Cosmic Rays and then DHS I like Backlot Express. If you are going with kids there is also Pizza Planet, the food is kay at best, but it is fun for kids.

At Mk, I like Cosmic Rays, the Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bill's if its open. At DHS, there is nothing good really

We always like Pinocchio Village Haus at MK....mostly for the location. My kids LOVE to sit by the window overlooking IASW and wave to the people in the boats. It's one of their FAVORITE MK passtimes!

Love Columbia Harbor Haus in MK, go upstairs to eat though, not alot of people know about this. Also enjoy Pecos Bills. At HS I like Backlot Express and Pizza Planet. Wow now I'm hungry!

If you're hungry for a burger at MK I recommend Peco's Bill. They have a fixins bar with sauteed onions and the works! Next week I'm hoping to try Pinocchio or El Pirata.

I also agree w/ Backlot at DHS.

At Magic Kingdom I love Cosmic Ray's. The portions are huge and they have a great fixings bar (I believe Pinnochio's and Pecos Bill's has this as well). I also really like Columbia Harbor House because it's different from other counter service restaurants. The tuna salad and ham with broccoli slaw sandwiches are great! And as one of the previous posters said, eat upstairs. It's way less crowded and there is a bathroom up there that no one uses.

As for Hollywood Studios, I've only eaten at Pizza Planet and ABC Commissary. Both we're fine.

We love Casey's Corner! It's a great place to have lunch and grab a good spot before the parade starts

We love Cosmic Ray's they have a a ribs (think)/chicken w/mashed potatoes and maybe something else. It's big enough to share and it's good. We've also eaten at Pecos Bills and it was pretty good. My dh is dying to try Casey's, he wanted to last trip we just never fit it in.


I've only eaten at ABC commissary for b-fast and I wasn't impressed.

Cosmic Rays has a larger selection than most, Pecos Bills is also good but not near the selection.

Columbia House at Mk is AWESOME! The sandwiches really are big enough to split one meal between adults...Mom and I figured that out after we both got the tuna...which was awesome, and neither of us finished!
Sorry, I've never done a CS in the Studios...They have WAY too many TS to choose from!

At the Magic Kingdom I would say Cosmic Rays and Peco Bills. At Hollywood Studios I would say ABC Commissary.

At MK, we like Pecos Bill's (fixins bar) and Pinnocchio Village Haus (view of small world). I really dislike most of the CS places at HS. We opt for the Sci-fi and split a meal or eat at Pizza Planet (not outstanding food, but fun atmosphere). Have a fun trip!

Our favorites:

Magic Kingdom -- Columbia Harbour House, Pinocchio Village Haus and Pecos Bills

Hollywood Studios -- sorry, none. We leave the property for lunch/dinner if we don't have a table service reservation.

We had one bad meal at Disney last summer, it was at Peco Bill's. We couldn't even get our 5yo to eat the fries, huh? He could live on fries & pizza.

A name I didn't see mentioned already: Main Street Bakery. Great pre made sandwiches that are a wonderful excuse to have dessert as you main course at lunch or any CS meal. We loved our Basil Mozzerella sandwich and our carrot cake was bigger than the sandwich. We had this meal after Spectromagic one night. We had the Peco Bill's while watching the Pirate and Princess parade.

We didn't have CS ate DHS, but I see Pizza Planet suggested often. One nice thing about that place, no distinction for children and adults, there is just one menu.
