Counter Service Recommendation for MNSSHP?

I need a recommendation for a counter service meal during or right before MNSSHP on 10/16. We already will be using our table service credit at CRT for lunch at 2:20pm. I'm thinking we are going to be hungry for a meal right around 7pm-ish. Was wondering what will be open and what do the fellow DIS-ers who have been to MNSSHP 2005 recommend for a DD (7), a DH and DW?

I would go to Cosmic Rays in Tomorrowland. I here there are a lot of activities there at 7:00PM when the party starts.

We lined up for the parade on Main Street right outside of Casey's. We got hotdogs, fries, drinks and brownies and ate waiting for the parade to start. Worked out well, and we didn't feel we were wasting time eating and missing the party. Have fun!

We got to Cosmic Ray's around 5:50 p.m., had a great dinner (the ribs are terrific), then when they re-opened the park at 6:45 p.m., we were right between FantasyLand and TomorrowLand. It worked great for us. You have to get to Cosmic Rays by 6:00 p.m. though. You are allowed to stay and eat, but they close down the counters at 6:00 p.m.

Pecos Bill's was open for the party on 10/6...DD and I enjoyed a great dinner before her first time on Splash Mountain... ...which was a whole other experience entirely!

I say go for it at PB's! It was good food, and quite different from other CS meals, although CRSC is really good too! We were there at 6:20 and out at 6:50! Perfect for the MNNSHP night!

I agree! I love Pecos Bill's! My sister and I just got back from MNSSP. Pecos Bill's was open and it's a great place in Frontierland to get a quick bite. I always get the Chicken wrap (#1), it's my fave!

...I'm so jealous, I wish I could go back! Have a great time!

I would choose Cosmic Rays in Tomorrowland!! My DH and myself went to the Oct. 2nd MNSSHP. In Cosmic Ray's they had a dance party with Stitch! The children loved it. It was great! Don't forget to go to the fixins bar at Cosmic Rays -- they have grilled onions and mushrooms -- lots of other yummy fixins too!!!
