Do you have to have a table serve to get a monti Crispo or do you need a table setting? I wasn't sure if thatis the name of it but I do want to try it the next time I am there
I've had Monte Cristo sandwiches but not at WDW -- was there a particular menu or restaurant where you saw mention of it? If it is at a table service restaurant, I would think you have to go in to eat it but maybe they would put it in a doggie bag for take out. I'd hate to pay TS price and not sit down myself --
If it is the sandwich I am thinking of, it is turkey (and/or ham) and cheese. Then the whole thing is dipped in egg/milk and grilled crusty and bown on the outside (like french toast). YUM -- you made me hungry for it now.
Have fun and I hope you get to have your sandwich!
I don't recall them being offered at WDW at all, except a similar sandwich for lunch at Chefs de France. However, they appear to be a staple at Disneyland.

Figures and this year due to high airline prices I can't go to CA but I am going to DW so that is a good things, I'll just have to try something different to try there, any ideas? TIA
I remember having one at a CS restaurant in WDW years ago. It would have been either in the late 80's or early 90's, and I think I remember it being at a restaurant near the Haunted Mansion. They may have had them at Colombia Harbor House back then.
