Counter service near Boardwalk?

We're arriving tomorrow and I have had zero time to plan....any good counter service places near the Boardwalk Inn? We will be arriving around dinnertime tomorrow night and would like something closeby.

There's a serious lack of counter service options in that area outside the theme parks.

If you are on the dining plan, your only options are the Beach Club Marketplace and the Boardwalk Bakery, or maybe Hurricane Hanna's if the pool is still open. If you're not on the dining plan, you can also use the Spoodles pizza window (till that place closes in its transition to Kouzzina - word is that Kouzzina may keep the pizza window but it might close for the transition, don't know yet) or the kiosks on the Boardwalk itself. You could also try the Fountain or Picabu at the Dolphin (not on the dining plan).

We loved the turkey, bacon & cheese sandwich on some kind of grainy bread that they served at the Boardwalk Bakery. They are huge, so the 2 of us split one & ordered a delicious piece of carrot cake to go with. Not a counter service, but Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club serves yummy cheeseburgers & ice cream--and doesn't take reservations.

Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club is yummy! They only take walk ups, but do get busy unless you can go at an off time!

If you are getting in late you could call Pappa Johns. Look in the phone book or ask the front desk for the correct number. You will need to pick up your order in the lobby. I orerded in November when I stayed at the Beach Club.

If you're considering pizza delivery, I have to recommend Giordano's. It was absolutely the best pizza I have ever had in my life. I am not exaggerating.

There is also Boardwalk to Go right on the Boardwalk, outside of the candy shop. They have yummy corn dogs!! They also have some other things...foot long hot dogs, chicken strips, grilled chicken sandwhich, and some other things. They have expanded their menu over the past couple of years. I have only had the corndog, because it is awesome, but my family has had the other items and liked them as well. Yum, now I want a corn dog!!

Yes. They can't deliver directly to your room, though. You have to meet them in the lobby. The driver will call you when he gets there.
