I've been looking but haven't found a very good list of counter service spots in Sea World. Anyone know of a recently updated list that might include menus and prices? TIA!

Here's one. I don't know when it was last updated.

Voyagers is my favorite place. Food is served cafeteria style. You get a tray and slide it down rails looking at food behind glass displays. Near the end of the line, you order hot food like pasta, or pizza (wood oven). A slice of pizza is $8, but it's huge and comes with a mound of fries. Can easily feed two kids.

We usually eat at the Smokey Creek grill where you can get beef brisket, bbq chicken, or ribs platters or combinations of 2 or 3 of the meats. $9 or there abouts.for a one meat platter. I think it cost around $25 for 2 platters, drinks, and the cheese cake before our 10 % discount. You get quite a bit of meat and french fries. Sometimes my husband and I share 1 platter-especially if we get a combo. There are also side dishes like slaw, corn on the cob, baked beans( I think) and desserts. I usually opt for the cheese cake . Usually about $45 for the 4 of us(all adults) They do serve the shamu kids meal here, too.

You can get deli type sandwiches where you get the samples of the beer.

Mango Joes cafe you can get fajitas, beer batter fish sandwiches and various type of wraps.

My favorite snack at the park is the waffle cone of soft ice cream with delicious stawberries.

We almost ate at the Sandbar last Thursday becasuse the fish sandwich listed on the outside menu sounded good, but ended up opting to go watch Shamu instead.

We've never eaten at Captain Petes in the Key West area but they serve hot dogs and chicken tenders there which is probably pretty inexpensive.

We tend to think the food at Sea World is better than at the other theme parks in the area. It seems like at the Disney parks we always opt for burgers and fries for lunch, but basically for about the same price you can eat better meals at Sea World. And if we go to Busch Gardens we opt for the Colonial House restaurant and eat a family meal for the price of burgers and fries at most of the parks.

Thank you! I'm trying to get an idea of how much we will need for lunch while at Sea World. The food is paid for other than at Seaworld and Wet n Wild. I don't know if we will have time to try a sit down restaurant, not to mention the kids probably won't have that much extra cash to spare. Do you know if any age can order a kids meal? I'd say most of the girls would rather have chicken nuggets and fries or the like, over anything else. Thanks again for the info.

I checked out prices for kids meals this time when we were at Sea world. Looks like at most restaurants there are kids meals offered for $6.99 - 7.99.

The prices at the Shark Restaurant were mostly in the $23-25 range for grouper, salmon, etc. Since we generally don't spend that much on an individual meal at a theme park we have never eaten there. Next time we go I think we will take the advice from a poster on here and make reservations for the family and have the pizza there instead of at the place in waterfront. I can't wait.

I found the prices there to be a little higher than Disney. When we go back this Nov. I'm going to budget more for food there. We spent around $30 avg at Disney and $50 for Sea World. We ate at Smoky Creek Grill. We Got:
2 kids meals @ 6.99 each
3 1/4 chicken platters @ 7.99 each
2 extra rolls @ .39 each
3 bottled waters @ 2.59 each

Total with tax- $48.38

Hope this helps!!

Scroll all the way to the bottom and look at the menu prices.
It's my visit to BGT last year. I ate at the smokehouse, and took pictures.
This place would be similar to Voyagers, where you get a tray, and slide it.
Yes, prices are more than what you would expect to pay outside. The only way to save money, is to eat breakfast outside at McDonalds "filling the kids up" and then let them share a meal at the park.

Most meals come with a mound of fries.
