I think we are going to be 2 CS credits shy this next trip because of how I am planning out our meals. This is my first time using the DDP and I want to try to maximize it, sooooo are there any CS meals that you find to be large enough to share between 2 adults? DH and I are not very big eaters, so I figure there must be something.

Thanks!

We shared the Tangeriene Cafe lamb/Chicken combo platters in Epcot this year. We also shared the Rosemary Chicken entree from Wolfgang Puck Express successfully. A couple of days we had big breakfasts and dinners planned and just wanted to share and those meals worked well!

My husband had an Italian grilled sandwich (ham and salami) from the Sunshine Seasons, and it was HUGE (could easliy been shared). Tangierine also has very large portions as PP sugested.

I find that most of the CS places have really good-sized portions. If you guys aren't big eaters, I'm sure you won't have a problem with finding something you both like and can split. :thumbsup2

The Shawarma Platter at The Tangierine Cafe in Morroco! :thumbsup2 Yummm!

It really depends on where you go. For instance if you get chicken fingers and fries, you only get 3 chicken fingers and some fries. I personally can eat all of that myself. I would just look over the menus on allears.net and then also maybe check out the dining picture thread to get an idea of how big some of the portions at cs are. Have a great trip!

We did this last year and ordered the double cheeseburger and paid (30 cents) to get an extra bun, so we both got a burger and just split the fries and soda. It worked out great too b/c we were at Peco Bills and I like toppings on my burger so I got to add whatever I wanted and my DH just kept his simple with ketchup We were both 100% satisfied when we left.

I know at Cosmic Rays, the chicken platter is half a chicken and 2 sides - plenty to share.

MY DH and I often shared. We would get one CS meal for breakfast or lunch and share it...especially when we had an ADR that would be close to one of those meal times so that we would not be stuffed. If we didn't get enough food with the shared CS, we would get a lite snack in between.

At the Yak and Yeti counter service in Animal Kingdom, the portions are huge. DH and I had 2 orders (Honey Chick and Shrimp Lo Mein) and fed both of us, our 2 kids (7 and 4), and still didn't eat everything. Only used 2 CS and just shared the honey chicken with the kids.

Today we had the panini sandwiches at Pinnochio's Village Haus in Magic Kingdom. The sandwiches are huge, big enough to share. And quite yummy. They came with a bag of chips along with the drink and dessert (chocolate shakes). Again, enough food for all 4 of us to share.

So much fun to search... ;-)

Cosmic Ray's Chicken also has:

1/2 Chicken and BBQ Rib Combination served with Mashed Potatoes and a seasonal vegetable $13.99

We split two of these between the 5 of us: DH, DW, DD14, DD12, DD8!

Flaming Tree in AK has good size portions. It's a BBQ place.

I second the Puck and Cosmic Rays. The chicken and ribs at Rays are huge. The chicken and pasta dishes are big enough for two.

Starring Rolls Bakery in HS is often overlooked, and have great sandwiches. The Turkey Brie was to die for. There is alot of meat and veggies on these sandwiches, and you get something better than burgers. It was plenty to share. We also got chips or coleslaw, a drink and dessert. The desserts were really good. Worth the trip there alone.

I would say, most CS restaurants serve large enough portions for the average person to share. We usually just get one plate to share- and grab a little snack in the afternoon.

Last year DH got the cheese steak and fries from Pinocchio's Village Haus (1 CS) and I got the Figaro Fries (1 Snack), and it was MORE than enough for two. Actually I think my sister got in on the action and we split that three ways.

I was going to suggest this too. Also, that you could split a breakfast platter from your resort with some pastries from Epcot WS the day before that you got from the snack options. I found those hard to use. Be sure to try the Dole whip float as a snack at MK. It's great.

Me and my mother shared practically everything (and we were on Free DDP) but we're just naturally light eaters I guess. We shared all kinds of hamburgers, chicken strips, wraps.

I'm 100% sure you'll be able to share things.
