Hi everyone,

Let me start off by saying that I am in no way a newbie to Disney dining, however, we don't do a ton of CS meals in the WS. We have eaten and do like Sunshine Seasons, but I was wondering about the CS restaurants around WS. We will be going to Disney in January for a short trip where we will be spending only 1 day in Epcot (normally we go 2+ days) and I would love to know what you all like as far as CS meals there. Our plan so far (making ADRs on the 26th of July) to have an early morning breakfast (before the park opens) ADR at Akershus and then a later lunch at Le Cellier, for dinner is where you come in...we want to do CS but just don't know where. There will be 6 of us including my 10yr old and my 8yr old. Oh yeah, the other CS meal that we have had there was the one in the American Pavilion which we said we will not be going back to, we did not care for it at all  Thank you guys so much for your help.

I really like the Cantina de San Angel. I think the food is pretty good, especially the churros. Also the fish stand over by Great Britian is another favorite. If you like fish and chips, that is the place to go.

try the Yaktori house at Japan or the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco both are great. My DW and I have eaten both of them many times and have never been disappointed.

After two pretty big meals, I'd be wanting something light. Sharing some fish & chips would be good. A sandwich from either France or Norway (you can also get soup here) would also fit the bill. While a brat from Germany might seem heavy to some, I think it would be a good ending to the day (and they also have hot dogs for your younger set). Maybe you could split up and everyone go get things from different countries and then meet somewhere centrally located for a "round the world" smorgasboard.

I agree!!!!!

My favorite counter service is the bakery in France. They have some yummy quiche, ham and cheese croissants and my absolute favorite a cheese plate that comes with a baguette. And you can get dessert too!

In World Showcase, I've eaten at the Liberty Inn and the Tangierine Café. Of the two...Tangierine Café wins hands down.

Good idea :thumbsup2, I guess that is one big plus to having CS meals :goodvibes. I know what my DH and both of my girls like when it comes to food, but we are taking my ILs with us and they can be kind of picky plus my FIL has an ulcer so no spicy food for him :sad2:. The one thing I do know that they like to get at home is Chinese food but we have never eaten at either the CS or the TS restaurants in China...can anyone tell me if it is equivalent to Chinese take out or is it more authentic to Asian cooking? Thanks so much for the replies/suggestions...can't wait to hear some more :goodvibes

I've gotten egg rolls (maybe potstickers too?) from the CS in China and they were similar to what I have had at local chinese takeout.

DD & I got sandwiches at France & walked back over & ate w/DD & DH outside of GB. Wasn't too bad of a walk & the food was in a bag & we had bottled drinks. Have walked from France to Morroco as well so the centralized thing can work.

I like Kringla Bakeri for sandwiches and Yorkshire County for fish. Looks like I should really try Boulangerie Patisserie for lunch sometime, so far I've only been there for snacks/dessert!

DP also likes Cantina de San Angel, and they have plenty of inside air-conditioned seating during lunch, when the next door Hacienda is not serving.

my fam and I like the cantina in Mexico.......mmmmm churros:thumbsup2, we're going this September, can't wait, so excited!!!!:cool1:

Another vote here for Cantina de San Angel. We tried it on the Dec trip last year and the food was good, fresh and plentiful. No complaints at all. One of the better CS options in our opinion.

We love snacking here, but can you get a cheese plate with baguette, dessert and drink as one meal on the QSDP?

For our upcoming trip we plan to share meals at each country throughout our trip. nomnomnom

I'm a big fan of the brats from Sommerfest in Germany. Other good options in my opinion are either nachos or guacamole and chips from La Cantina de San Angel (with a margarita of course!) or fish & chips from the cart in the United Kingdom.

La Cantina San Angel, Tangierine Cafe, and Yakitori House are three fav. places in WS.
