I decided to rearrange out Epcot day so that we do FW in the AM and end with a nice sit down lunch (TS on DDP) take a break and then come back to wander the WS and watch Illuminations. I thought maybe my family of 5 could eat CS at more than 1 place & share so we could try a few things (we would have 5 CS credits to use) . So what are everyone's favorites? Do you think this is a good idea instead of our usual CS lunch and sit down dinner? I thought this would give us more time to experience the WS before the show, and a chance to try some different foods. This day is mid Sept. Open to all opinions .

BTW: We don't do Mexican as I am allergic to green peppers and there doesn't seem to be any getting away from them in a Mexican restaurant, but everything else is OK.

We usually do CS for lunch and TS for dinner in Epcot. Our favorite is Yakitori house in Japan. The sukiyaki beef and teriyaki chicken is great!

I really like the idea but I think you may be losing out on some of the best TSrestaurants in all of WDW. popcorn::
I too am looking forward to some counter service at Epcot. I want to try the fish-n-chips at Yorkshire, the burger at Liberty Inn & the brat at Sommerfest.

Good luck on whatever you do. YO

I really like the Sunshine Seasons at the Land in Future World. They had pretty good selections and the Asian stir fry I got was actually really good.

I think that is an excellent idea. We do the same at Epcot in order to get a variety of food. Lotus Blossom in China has great egg rolls and lo mein. We are going to try out the Biergarten this year. Kaki Gori (shaved ice) in Japan is a great dessert. The Norway Bakery also has some nice treats. Just keep your eyes open there are many treasures to be found. popcorn::

Hmmm, are you thinking of doing all 5 plates at the same time (in which case I would think you want to stay relatively close to each dining venue), or eating and wandering ? If you are wandering, I would do a plate from the Sunshine Seasons in the Land, then continue on to the WS and grab 2 fish-n-chips from Harry Ramsden's Yorkshire County Fish Shop, and maybe 2 Shawarma Combo Platters from the Tangierine Cafe. The Shawarma Platters are especially a good value for CS credits. And don't forget that you can utilize your snack credits for some pretty good lunch/dinner type items. . . . .

:thumbsup2 Every time we go to Epcot, we MUST eat at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the UK Pavilion. Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! :lovestruc The Boulangerie Patisserie in France makes a wonderful stop for dessert.

Fish & Chips at Yorkshire in England
Shwarama Platter in Morocco - It's basically a "gyro" plate, as its usually called in America.. its delicious

I think it is a GREAT idea (I am assuming you will be eating a bit, wandering on and eating a bit again, etc.). As others have said be sure to stop at the Tangerine cafe in Morrocco and also the Kringla Bakery in Norway (a GREAT place to use snack credits--I dream about their sweet pretzles).

Yorkshire fish & chips here too!! They were so delicious last year, I have to go again!

6 days until CBR!!!

Sunshine Seasons! We stay at the Boardwalk and will go to epcot some days just to go to Seasons, we really like it as a CS, we love our TS, but it has some of the best and healthier choices when it comes to CS

Another vote for the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco. That's my favorite CS in the WS.:thumbsup2

Believe it or not I have never ate at Epcot. I think I will try the fish and chips at the Yorkshire. The last time we walked by the smell was tantalizing.

My family all LOVE the cantina in Mexico! The combination platter is huge and delicious!

The best CS burgers in Epcot are at the liberty Inn. we go every time if you want something like that.

We liked Biergarten as a sit-down option also.

We eat all over epcot. We like something from every pavillion. We always eat more than one at Morocco. Schwarma Platter and the wraps are really good.

:thumbsup2 You won't be disappointed. Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! :cloud9:

Eating around the World is a fantastic idea!! We do it often. France has a really tasty fruit and cheese platter. Not to mention all the other goodies in their bakery.
