I know I'm going to feel like a giant pig at WDW now that we're going to use the Dining Plan. I was wondering if we could use the Counter Service for Breakfast, a snack at lunch time and then use the Table Service for Dinner. Last time we were there I never was that hungry. I figured if I skip lunch and do just a light snack then I could enjoy a big dinner. However ,I've never done breakfast at a counter service in the Parks...only at Roaring Forks when we stayted at WL --- is this Doable? Also, if it is, what would be included for breakfast?

You can use your Counter-Service meal for any meal you choose the same goes with you table service and snack, there is no deisgnation with the meals

Hope that helps

Yes, you can use a CS credit to get breakfast on the dining plan. With one credit you would be entitled to: one entree OR one complete combo meal, one juice & one single non-alcoholic beverage. The juice serves as a substitute for the dessert you would normally get with a lunch/dinner CS meal. Now, you may find some restaurants handle this differently. For example at both the Mainstreet Bakery (MK) and Boardwalk Bakery we have found it allowable to get an entree and a sweet item (ie., dessert) and one drink. All of the parks have at least one restaurant with CS breakfast options, and the resorts do too, but you may not have tons of choices at each place. It is fairly standard breakfast fare.

My family and I always did a light snack for breakfast...and did the counter service for lunch.

We'd end up getting hungry around 11:00 or so for lunch...
By the time dinner came around 7, we were starving.

as other posters have said, yes you can use it for breakfast.

Although we usually use a snack credit for breakfast (muffin or bagel), then use our counter service for lunch.

alot of times if we are eating our counter service at our resort (or heading right back to our resort) I will see if I can substitute the dessert (cake or whatever) for a fruit cup... I put it in the fridge and have it for breakfast the next day.

We also used our snack and a little bit out of pocket for breakfast on most days and then we did have a few TS breakfast as well. Disney dosen't care how you use them, You could even use them all on your first day, but I wouldn't..lol.

I recommend.....

1. Light Breakfast in the Room.... (Oatmeal, Grits, Cereal, Cereal Bars, Muffins, etc.)

2. Counter service* OR Table Service LUNCH

3. COunter Service OR Table Service* DInner

4. Snacks in between when you are hungry...

THere are NOT a lot of Counter Service Breakfast Options......

Hugs,
Mary
