Counter Service Food?

Which places have the best counter food in MK, MGM, AK and Epcot? and why?

MK - for value (price & quantity) Cosmic Ray's
- for value (cheap and taste darn good) Casey's

MGM - ugh... there is none, maybe the new Backlot Express might be better.

AK - Tusker House - great value and good taste especially when you get the AK meal certificate. The salmon is really good for the price.

Epcot - Cantina de San Angel is great as is Yakitori House.

Some that I have enjoyed in the past are...

Cosmic Rays in MK
Liberty Inn in Epcot
Pizza Planet in MGM....
We have tried Flame Tree BBQ in AK once and it was ok...not something I'd make a point that we have to back to again, but I would eat there again if I were hungry while at AK.

CR, I enjoyed the burgers and fries there, and I like the topping bar.

LI, Again, a good toppings bar and enjoyable burgers & fries. My kids who dont eat much devour the large hot dogs there. And well, it gts DH's vote because they serve Sam Adams, his favorite.

PP, For some reason their salads always hit the spot for me. I used to think their pizza was just ok but it has gotten better over the past few years. I'd rate it as pretty good now(but I know many dont share my opinion).

FT, the kids hot dogs were sort of chewy and shrivlled...like they had been microwaved. I had either a pulled pork or pulled beef (I forget which they have) sandwich which I thought was pretty good.

My favorites:

MK:

El Pireto blah blah blah-I don't remember the exact name but it is in Adventureland. We love the taco salad from there.

Cosmic Rays-love the burgers, they have cheese sauce so you can add to your fries at the fixin' bar (or at least they did). Plus if you don't want a burger, you can get chicken, etc... & there is a ton of room in there to sit & chill out from the summer sun.

Pecos Bills-cheese fries, but Iove the burgers there too.

Epcot:

Cantina de San Angel- we love the taco salad from there but watch out for the birds, they attack so cover your food immediately.

The Land-although I haven't eaten there since it has been redone. My dh & I like to split a salad & sandwich.


MGM:

Haven't really eaten there for a meal in quite a few years. We usually leave at lunch time, take the boat to Epcot, eat at the Land & then take the monorail back to the Poly for our mid-day break.

AK:

We enjoyed Pizzafari. This time we are going to get a salad & a sandwich & split it. There was a ton of seating in there too.


Also we love, did I say love, yes love the Turkey legs. We are one of the couples who you will see eating it with great pleasure. I will be the one holding it & growling as my dh takes a bite. My sisters SIL thinks those are gross & the people who walk around eating them look like pigs. So I am proud to say I am a pig!
