Counter service dinner--monorail access

We are staying at CR and are looking for the best counter service dinner for our first night...our boys love the monorail and we'd like to visit other resorts, so help us pick!

Capt'n Cook's at the Poly! Love the pulled pork sandwich and their flatbreads are good too. Plus, you can eat outside (if it's not too hot) under the palm trees, then take a walk around the Poly beach. It's our fave CS.

The Contempo Cafe at the Cotemporary is pretty good. You could eat there and then take the monorail to the Grand Floridian and Polynesian just to look around. They are both well worth a visit!

You cannot go wrong with the food from any of the monorail loop CS places, we love them all

captain cooks...MMM the BBq sandwich and a dole whip...Fireworks on the beach and water parade... Tonights gonna be a good nite.

We tried the one at GF one night (we were in the mood for fried chicken tenders so they had them there). It satisfied my fried food craving. There was also a small arcade in there too. I would like to try Captain Cooks next time around though.

We enjoyed Contempo Cafe when we stayed at BLT. We had many good meals there!
