I know that these may not be the highlight of our trip but just wondering if anyone had something nice or a good alternative (dining plan) like fruit or a cookie. Any pictures would be great. Thanks.

The contemporary had nice big cupcakes which i enjoyed. The worms and dirt was also good.

I would love to know too, I don't think I can eat a weeks worth of Chocolate cake every day.

the cupcakes are at CS next to Chef Mickeys - not bad cupcakes!
I also like the choc. chip cookies, they're a good snack for later...... some of those other little 'cakes in a plastic bowl' look so nasty IMHO:surfweb:

If you dine in your resort you should be able to grab a dessert from the grab and go market. We did this at the CBR and I had Mickey krispie bars for dessert. My son has allergies and he was able to get divvies caramel popcorn for a dessert!

Pecos Bill will substitute a cookie for your cake. Flame Tree has a key lime tart that is good. Several have cheesecake. And of course, at the Mexican cs you can get a churro.

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot has a great selection of baked goods (strawberry shortcake, cheesecake, key lime pie, pastries and lots of other things)

Wolfgang Puck Express has frozen yogurt with one topping and creme brulee

Tangierine Cafe - Baklava (can't sub anything, they are very strict - Baklava or nothing)

Kringla in Norway has lots of different items

Starring Rolls in DHS - cupcakes, and other baked goods

Every park has at least one other choice and as someone said, resort CS has plenty more options than the locations in the parks

Earl of Sandwich has a lot of choices for dessert. Almost too many. Pudding, cookie, yogurt parfait, etc.

I forgot about the yogurt parfaits. That reminds me, Cosmic Rays (I think it is there) have no sugar added strawberry parfaits for dessert. Pizza Planet in DHS have those Crisped Rice treats too - as do several other locations. However as a side note, I would never choose a CS purely based on the dessert offerings and Pizza Planet food leaves a lot to be desired IMO.

I've never eaten a churro. Cantina San Angel is currently closed though, however Disney churros should come with a caution: they are HUGE!! I can just picture someone entering a ride with their young child and having to explain to them "Sorry honey, you're not tall enough. When you are as tall as this churro, you are big enough to ride .....!"

Anything at Boulangerie Pattiserie in Epcot, but here is a link to 2 of my faves

Also, the counter service at Germany, Sommerfest has amazing desserts. The black forest cake and the cheesecake are huge portions and so good!

The selection and quality of the desserts at Sunshine Seasons are also very good with options such as Butterfinger Cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake.

Also, a dole whip is a great choice at Captain Cook's at the Polynesian.
