Hello! I am on a quest to eat mostly counter service and home-made sandwiches on my next trip. Wondering where in the world are the kid-friendliest cooked veggies available at counter service restaurants?

The only thing I can recall are the green beans you get with rotisserie chicken at Cosmic Rays. Can you all think of any others? Not counting salads, fruit and raw carrots. I mean kid-friendly cooked vegetables (peas? carrots? lima beans? corn? anywhere?).

Help!

Sorry I can't think of any that you haven't mentioned.

CS is more along the lines of "fast food industry"....therefore I don't think you are going to find many of them.
(just as in the outside world of fast food)

I'm pretty sure that we got cooked vegetables with our meals at Sunshine Seasons in The Land in EPCOT. Maybe cooked carrots? Sunshire Seasons has the widest variety of food at any counter services and has the most options, IMO.

our meals at Port Orleans French Quarter and also All Star Movies....we had corn and sometimes carrots for our meals ...You pick an entree and then choose two options with it.....so I got pot roast and my two options were potatoes and carrots......and my dil had the corn option......all very good....I usually get a salad with it for a side, but pay extra for that

I know one of the dishes at Sunshine Seasons (chicken stir fry) had cooked brocolli with it. There might have been other veggies, but that is one I remember.

Oh, and there are plenty of cooked potatos at every CS place! :rolleyes1

At MK we had loaded baked potatoes and raw carrots/ celery sticks for dinner one day. It's at the Marketplace In Liberty Square. Right down the street from the turkey leg cart in Frontierland if you want a more complete meal. They also had fresh fruit too.

They have cooked carrots in Sunshine Seasons- at the place where they have chicken. I don't know many others that have cooked vegies for kids meals.

I know we've had stir-fried vegetables at Sunshine Seasons, and I think they have broccoli separately too.
Also at Sunshine Seasons, a very good vegetable soup with carrots, beans, celery, and more.

Lentil salad at Tangeriene Cafe in Morroco.
Vegetarian Stir Fry at Lotus Blossom Cafe at CHina.

Pop Century, the All Star's and AKL all have cooked veggies (stewed tomato based... With zucchini-type veggies). They aren't listed, but are offered with meat enterees. You have to ASK for them.

My mom is a vegetarian, and she lives off these veggies at WDW!

We had corn on the cob (roasted) at a cs spot in Frontier Land, don't know the name of it. My picky kids loved it.
