Just an fyi - we just got back from 10 days at Disney on free dining. Two times we were limited to a child counter service for my son instead of a regular counter service. They may be starting to crack down and/or really start watching this.

Technically you have always been limited to child meals for children on the DDP - CS or TS. Any variation from that has been at the kindness/forgetfulness/whatever of the CM. Regardless of what any individual CM has said, the plan makes it clear that you should expect to be able to order ONLY kids meals for the kids. Plan your meals accordingly, but if someone lets you get an adult meal for your kid, you lucked out and someone bent the rules. If your kids don't like eating kids meals, then maybe the DDP isn't for you.

Ok, so maybe we were bad about this, too...:guilty: but if we were at a CS where I knew DS would eat an adult meal as opposed to the slew of mac n cheese and pizza, I just sent him to a table w/DH and ordered by myself. The CS credits aren't seperated on the receipts, and for the most part the CMS taking the orders aren't paying attention. We got him adult meals at Cosmic Rays (he wanted a cheeseburger) and at Columbia Harbor House. We also got him adult meals at Sunshine Seasons, twice. He loves mac and cheese and pizza, but come on, even a kid gets tired of that stuff after a few days. I confess...send me to DDP Jail! :lmao:

You need to clarify your statement. What did your card say? How many adults, how many children - did you try to order more adult meals than the number shown on your card? If so that was the problem - did you specifically ask for an adult meal for your child? Please share more details of what actually happened.

Thanks,
Tammy

Disney is very consistent with how CS are to be used. If you have 2 A and 2C, that is what you are entitled to on your credits. Any different use is against their guidelines and the CM is subject to disciplinary action.

We do not advocate suggesting ways to get around Disney guidelines.
