Counter Service at World Showcase Epcot

Cantina de San Angel was AMAZINGLY good. My husband and I weren't expecting it. I had the chilaquiles, and it was SOOO yummy! Hubby had the burrito, and he loved it. Warning on the desserts, though - the churro was good, but the other option (I forgot what it's called)...they're like really hard fortune cookies with cinnamon sugar on them, shaped like a wheel. But the food is the same food that's served in the main restaurant, San Angel Inn...but for a fraction of the price. Definitely tops.

I agree with PPs. We went to Morocco, Germany, Japan and France on our trip in May and had CS in each one. They were all delicious. Japan and Morocco edged Germany and France but just a tiny bit.

Then in December we went to UK, France (love the pasteries and croissants), Mexico and China. This time we loved UK (but the fish portion we felt was overly small 2 strips) and Mexico over China.

There are a few pictures and review on my blog (link in signature) it is under restaurant reviews - Eating Our Way around the World. I am planning on putting our December CS trip around the world up there in the next few days with more pictures.

Hope this helps. :)

One more vote for Tangierine Cafe. We like to snack around WS. We get something small and share everything. Fish and Chips from UK. Cheese plate or sandwich from France and a pastry, Schwarma platter from Morroco and so on.

I would vote Fish n Chips in UK, but that's all they have, so if your whole family doesn't like it, then you don't have another option.

We usually do Mexico for a light lunch/snack option for the tacos and nachos, although we get tired of fighting off the Ibis birds there.

We tried China's CS last year and did not like the egg rolls, although the noodle bowl was pretty tasty. But too hot in the summer!

We're going to try Morocco this trip - I've heard a whole lot of rave reviews for the Schwarma platter so I want to go for it!!

Sunshine Seasons would be my vote for Epcot...great food and the portions are large enough to split easily between two grown adults.

If it had to be just one, I'd say Tangerine Cafe, too. Platters and sandwiches are all very good.

Epcot has the best CS restaurants in WDW, so to pick only one would be a hard choice. We love Sunshine Seasons, the Norwegian bakery, the French bakery, and Tangeriene Cafe in Morocco. If I was with family and had to pick just one, it'd probably be Sunshine Seasons, just because of the variety. Everyone would be able to find something they'd like and they have great desserts. If I was solo, it'd be Tangeriene Cafe in Morocco for the chicken/lamb swarma platter, then I'd run to the French bakery if I wanted dessert.

Just finished putting up some pictures in my blog of UK, France and Mexico (Eating Our Way Around the World Part II) and Germany, Japan, Morocco and France (Eating Our Way Around the World) if you care to take a look. Link is in my signature and it is under Restaurant Reviews on the right.

Hope this helps some. :)

I would say the French bakery. They have more than just pastries - quiche, ham and cheese croissants and my favorite, a bread and cheese plate.

But my daughter would pick Yakitori House which my husband and I think it OK but not the best.

My husband would pick England and fish and chips which I think are OK and my daughter won't eat at all.

So our solution if we only have one day is we stop at all three. Those not eating just have a cold drink, people watch, wander around the pavilion, etc.

I agree with those who said Tangierine Cafe in Morocco! My favourite CS in all of WDW plus the platters are big enough to share. I love the lamb/chicken shwarma plate!:goodvibes

We like to eat all over the world showcase. We are a family of 4 and we get one thing from each country to split it. Although my kids love the fish and chips from UK the best, so they probably each get an order of that!

We're going this Feb. We have never ate at the Tangerine Cafe, we have always been afraid to try it, but going by what most of you here say about it, I think we'll give it a whirl this time.

We do usually walk to FW for Sunshine Seasons, but do like China and UK. DH is excited about the new counter service in Italy...a pizzaria!! He's always wanted something like that added there.

In World Showcase, Tangerine Cafe is my favorite. Love the Shwarma Platter.
In Future World, Sunshine Seasons has enough variety to satisfy anyone.

In June we ate at the pastry shop in France and it was really good. I really liked the Nepolian I got for the dessert.:cool1:
