Counter service, any that are a must?

I have not really picked any of my counter service reastraunts. I just thought we would paly it by ear. However are there any out there that are a must? We love American and Mexican foods but are open to new stuff also. So what is the hidden treasure of counter/quick service meals @ the World?

I am a big fan of the fish and chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop in Epcot's UK pavilion.

I also love some of the baked goods at the Starring Rolls Bakery in DHS, and the Veiled Maiden (a delicious parfait-like concoction of chilled apple sauce and whipped cream) at Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in Epcot's Norway.

For something a little different that even picky eaters will enjoy, try the chicken ad/or lamb schwarma at the Tangerine Cafe in Epcot's Morocco pavilion. NOTE: Moroccan food IS NOT SPICY!

Many people are enamored of the food court in Epcot's Land pavilion. It has a lot of more upscale-deli offerings that are a welcome change from the standard burgers and fries.

Flame Tree BBQ in DAK has terrific BBQ chicken and other offerings.

For us Tangierine Cafe in Morrocco and WPE in DTD are musts!

I would second the Yorkshire County Fish Shop and the Sunshine Seasons in Epcot. We were also pleasantly surprised at the pizza at Pizza Planet in HS. I think it is pretty much the same pizza they have at the food courts and stuff, but I really expected it to be crummy, and it was pretty good. Came with a nice salad too

My favs are Sunshine seasons in The LAnd, Cosmic Rays and Columbia Harbor house @ MK. Wolfgang puck express and Earl of Sandwich @ DTD. I do not like any at DHS, and like Flame Tree BBq at Ak

I would highly recommend the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary and Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney Marketplace.

On this past trip we really enjoyed going to Pecos Bills in MK (they have an awesome taco salad and a fixings bar), Sunshine Seasons in Epcot is always a must, and we really liked Cosmic Rays (loved sitting outside and looking at the Castle).

These are 2 of our favs, CS or TS. Chix & Rib combo @ Rays is THE BOMB!!!

DD, DH and I all went to WPE in December. We ordered one sandwich, one pasta and one pizza. All three of us loved all 3 items and DD and DH are fussy. I think we will go there every trip from now on.

And I third. This was one of our favorite counter service meals at WDW, and if you are using the dining plan, it is a bargain--if you are paying, it is pricey.

We like the Lotus Blossom Cafe.. pretty standard Chinese food, but at least you know what you're gonna get!

I personally LOVE WPE in DTD as well.. the rosemary chicken and mac n cheese are to die for!!!

But by far, my favorite counter service meal in WDW is Flame Tree BBQ at AK. I literally drool just thinking about the ribs! The seating area is a bit confusing though, my genius group got lost trying to find the rest of our party. August heat + large trays of HEAVY food = not a good time

At MK, we love Pecos Bills (love the taco salad and the chicken wrap) and the Columbia Harbour House (great sandwiches). The Flame Tree BBQ is my favorite at AK (fantastic bbq chicken), and we also love Tangierine Cafe (chickent pita is really yummy) in Epcot. I am still looking for a favorite at DHS. I have just as good memories eating at those places as many of the TS. I'm looking forward to going back in June!

I really liked the tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbor House, the Earl of Sandwich at DD (really really good) and the fish & chips stand at the UK pavilion in the World Showcase.
The meals I've tried at the Sunshine Seasons in the Land had a ton of artificial garlic taste so I'm not really a fan.
