Hello! We're on the DDP for our trip in two weeks and we're looking for a great counter or quick-service restaurant for dinner at either Magic Kingdom or one of the monorail resorts. Any favorites or suggestions?

Our favorite CS=Columbia Harbour House...love the fried shrimp platter!

Also Cosmic Rays has a very good selection...roast chicken as well as the normal burger and fries.

Be Our Guest has great atmosphere and a good menu.

We had dinner at Contempo Cafe in the Contemporary on the counter service plan. We had pot roast which was delicious. I also like the fried shrimp at Columbia Harbor House and the roast chicken dinner at Cosmic Rays.

I would recommend Columbia Harbor House at MK. If you want a break, take the monorail to Contemporary or Poly. At CR, there's Contempo Cafe, and they have some tasty selections.

At Poly, ground level, there's Captain Cook's. It's OK there, but it has the Dole Whip if you like that. Personally, I like stepping in to the Poly just for a look around. There's a nice coffee bar, and sushi bar at 5pm, on the monorail level. And some fun shops to look around.

At GF, there's Gasparilla Grill, and it was OK, with some unique selections. Again, walking around GF is the draw there. Lots of beautiful decoration and art.

I'd recommend the Contempo Casual at the Contemporary Resort. They have surprisingly good food, quick service, and usually no crowds. Plus, it's fun to sit and watch the monorails go by while you eat your dinner. :)
