Countdown to Thanksgiving....

11 more days left (not counting today or the 24th) to plan menus, check cooking supplies, make grocery lists, check food ads/coupons, shop, organize seating, rent chairs or whatever you need, bring out the china, wash and iron the tablecloths, get up the decorations/table centerpieces, order pies, make sure evryone knows what time, etc!!! Whew! Okay deep breath.

So am I the only one who's done none of the above?

It can't be that close to Thanksgiving, I just finished all the laundry from my Halloween trip!

Wait a minute, I have a birthday party to plan too....my oldest is turning 5 on Thanksgiving. It CAN'T be this close..

I was just dreaming today of what it would be like to go to someone else's home with a homemade pie and a bottle of wine...it would be so wonderful! For now I have full responsibility of the all the things you mentioned, momma. It is a lot of work, and sometimes people have no idea how much work it is. But I am grateful, very grateful, for everything I have have. My list is huge, but all will get done.

And for the others: YES it's that close. Sorry to say. BTW, I have a b-day for my DD on the 19th to think about and a trip to pack for. It's stressful but in a good way.
