I just spent about 15 minutes scrolling through and seeing those humongous cupcakes! I'm not much on frosting, so I scrape most of it off and leave just a little for flavor. They do look very enticing, don't they? Maybe I'll get one next week at some point - but which one??? I need them to make mini-cupcakes so I can get several different ones.

I am excited to see what treats you eat on your vacation - you are on your way!

yep, I just bought those Disney Mickey band-aids, too! Couldn't resist AND I had a coupon!!

I am jealous of the coupon--I will have to ask my dh if we have one. I don't think I've shared that he clips coupons and does the grocery shopping. (He started when I was pregnant with the girls. I was sick by the smells. He saw how much he could save by planning instead of me just tossing in "stuff" and has continued going. I now give him my list.)

I wanted to share with you the little bit of Disney I see every day/ every other day.

I began running in May, and have taken to it (despite the notion that I thought I wouldn't). I began with a friend who is amazingly patient with me. When I started, I would run, walk, run, crawl, walk, etc. Now, I am able to run the whole loop (twice actually - about 3.5 miles). My girlfriend is still patient with me because I am sooo slow...

Anyway, that is the back story...here is the Disney connection. At about the .75 mile mark, I see this "pond". It is just like the view from our Old Key West Room.

The little fountains in the middle that are like OKW.

Maybe Jess can post pics of the OKW "pond", or give me permission to post her photo?

Isn't it funny how we find Disney in things all around us Yesterday it was 43 degrees Celsius here with the humidity and it was just like Florida in August My sister called and said "are you ready for two weeks like today" and I laughed and said bring it on!!

Good for your husband! My DH will just go out and buy whatever he wants -- doesn't care if it's on sale and never uses a coupon. Drives me crazy!!

We are staying at OKW for our 1st time in January so any OKW pics/thoughts are great! If we have a view like that, we'll love it!

I took the pics with my iPhone and edited them. Love my iPhone. I feel the same way when it is hot here- which is most of the summer - haha. It is good practice for Disney!

We liked OKW but it was just too remote feeling for us (it is the antithesis of commando!) It is a lovely resort though.

Thanks! I did listen to podcasts two days ago, but I typically need a faster tempo to push me. I do listen to Disney music most other times.

We are only 38 days away! (Wendy, I am jealous of your 10 days!)

It is time to start to prepare...so
Last night, I took my girls to the new Vera Bradley Outlet near us. I agreed to pay for half of the backpacks if they paid the other half. One was reluctant (she doesn't part with her money easily). Once there, however, she fell in love (with loves me a pattern she has been partial to for a while.) She really loved Carnaby, but they didn't have it in a backpack.

So, one daughter ended up with

and a matching wallet (I couldn't resist...)

The other had a hard time between Java Blue and Blue rhapsody, but ended up with

They didn't have a matching wallet, so we went with the coin purse.

The outlet had 30% off everything - backpacks were $59...ended up being $42!

These bags are perfect for my girls for the plane, and the couple of car trips we have scheduled for the beach. They can fit iPods, cards, book, notebook and bathing suits for travel. It means less for me to carry!

Love VB bags and both backpacks are great choices - the girls have good taste. As a result of these boards I made my first VB purchase a few months ago (hadn't even heard of the brand before ) and am very pleased with it.

What a gorgeous view for your run!!! And how great that it reminds you of Disney! I'm amazed that you can now run 3.5 miles continuously. That's great!
Love the Vera Bradley bags. I bought the kids rolling backpacks from Target last year and they are such pieces of garbage. I think I'll have to buy new travel backpacks this year. Probably I'll just replace their old school backpacks since they are aging rapidly (both the kids and the backpacks ).

Hello all. In one month, we will be flying to Disney!!!

I have been working on plans, and I will be updating info in the next couple of days before we head to the beach with my family. In the meantime, I wanted to show off my beautiful girls...

We went to the shore with my dear girlfriend for a couple of days...this dock is off the back of her parent's shore home. Hannah instantly said, "Mom I have a great pose..." This is what she did...

So not able to have a lovely shot of one, I had Emma show me her stuff...

Hello all. In one month, we will be flying to Disney!!!

We leave Tuesday - so excited, but having a hard time packing between flying and taking nicer clothes for our signature dining ressies!

The treats I ended up buying were a caramel-filled chocolate cookie and some caramel corn from Germany and a Cloudberry Horn from Norway. We share the Cloudberry Horn there on the spot, but ate the chocolate cookie, which is more like a thin brownie, back in the room and then brought the rest home. It was a huge cookie, and there is still about a third of it left. We haven't opened the caramel corn yet.

I think Jill and John ended up with some chocolate chip muffins from Starring Rolls one morning. Their muffins are like three normal-sized muffins!
