countdown project using mickeyhead paint chips?

Saw someone post awhile back about some sort of countdown activity using those Mickeyhead paint color sample cards from Home Depot, so I went out and grabbed a bunch of different colors of them (multi use, as needed anyway for painting new baby's room), but now I can't remember the project. We leave on May 25th, so I'm a bit behind. Anyone have any fun ideas for using these? Ways to incorporate trivia maybe? (age appropriate for 6 year old beginning reader)

I added mines at the top of the thread. It says countdown calendar. I bent them alittle at the top and only glued down the bent part and undernether was pic of past trips and some just had stickers or clipping from magazines.

Hi - I posted about what I'm doing already, but I'll recap it for ya. It's nothing elaborate, though.
I have a pocket chart calendar in my 5.5 year old son's room and I've stuck one of the paint sample cards in the slot for the day that we leave, so that he can see that we are really and truly actually (maybe?) getting closer to the big day. LOL. Then I have been putting a different paint sample card on the kitchen table each morning so that when my boys wake up they see it first thing. We are taping them in a line to the side of one of the kitchen counters - it's a great visual aid in helping them understand that it's almost time for our trip. I started doing this with only 10 days left and we now have a line of 4 mouseheads, and my 5 year old is getting some great math practice in by figuring out how many mouseheads left to collect. Even my 2.5 year old is getting into it!

We taped them to posterboard and numbered them, pulled one off each day. Underneath was a Disney sticker. Sorry, no ideas for trivia!

You could write a trivia question on the back of each card and have her pull one out of a bowl each day. As the bowl gets emptier, she knows it's getting closer!
