Apologies in advance for the very simple question, but I’m a bit confused.

I understand that the dining reservation window is 60 days, but I’ve seen mention in a few places that if you are staying at a Disney resort, you can make reservations 10 days before that. Is that right?

You're able to make reservations 60 days in advance and, if staying at a Disney resort, can make reservations for the next 10 days as well. If staying off site, you'd have to make the reservations for each day of the trip individually, each 60 days out. One exception, if doing a split stay between two Disney resorts, you will have two separate 60 day windows and for each could book for the balance of your stay at that resort on the 60th day out.

Here's the Disney explanation:
Guests may make advance reservations for dining and other experiences up to 60 days in advance. In addition, Disney Resort hotel Guests can make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay (up to 10 days).
