Countdown Calendar

So here is a picture of my countdown calendar. Had extra MHPCs to use, and thought this would be a good idea to keep my nieces from asking "How many days til we go?" Underneath each number is the name of an attraction at WDW. I figure when we get back, they can circle all the rides they actually went on. Pretty cool, huh? And the calendar doesn't officially start until the 17th. But, if I wait til then to do it, I'll forget.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I can't wait to give it to the girls, but I know they will want to start tearing those little heads off right away. They are very excited, and this is their first trip! I can't wait. I think the calendar is more for me than them, but that's OK!

This is a cute idea! Someone from here shared their disney countdown chains with me. My kids love them. you print them and then cut and staple them in to a loop chain. Ours hangs over and curtain and they pull a ring each day then discuss the character. It been fun, I love this board I would have never thought of half of this stuff.

We did the chain link made out of construction paper and we started with 66 days.. and are down to I think 36 days left... it has been fun as DD made it her craft and then we also arranged the links by color for each week.

That is awesome. It's great seeing people having fun with the time leading to the trip. It just makes the actual trip that much more fun.

Lelluvsdisney, please feel free to copy. It's not my idea. I saw one on winkers trip report and copied hers. She actually put stickers over the numbers to indicate the day was done. I just tried something different. Good luck with all your upcoming trips!
