Countdown Banners?

I have used Mickypath for my countdown banners for yearsand think I know which type of code to post on my signature. But I am having trouble with them. I set one up, and it shows the correct countdown days, but then it doesn't update the countdown after that.

Has anyone else had problems with this? It seems such a minor thing, but I love watching my countdown, and am bummed that it doesn't change each day. Any other countdown site that anyone has used?
