No I am a salaried employee. no overtime.
and I am so busy all day, that I dont have time to do anything, I mean nothing, I barley say hi to my hubby during the day.

So this new job will be much better. Hoping to get an offer letter soon.

Okay, hang in there! Been there and done that myself till the company got sued because as managers we were not exempt. Company had to pay every manager back wages for 5 years. Then I go more due to the graveyard shifts I worked as well.

What are the downsides if any?

You probably missed my news. We sold our house in one week last February and are now on our 3rd house hunting trip to Colorado Springs. We rescinded a contract on the first house we wanted due to inspection problems. We put in 2 offers yesterday and a low ball offer on a great house was accepted!

If the inspection is okay tomorrow we'll settle in mid-May and move in later in May.

And I finally got to see Texas for the first time when we flew from BWI to Houston and then to Colorado Springs, very green and flat.

What are the downsides if any?

Congrats on selling the house, that is awesome. Sorry it has taken so long to get a great house for you, but hopefully this house will pass inspection and you get in a great offer.
I always loved Colorado springs, beautiful place.

Houston is very metropolis, we are very rural, we have hills and lots of farm land. Very different than B'more.

one of these days i will be back there.
