I know its happened to me on every vacation... I forget something! I have a little over a week till we go to DL and I wanted to ask you all what might I be forgetting at this point? We'll be flying with one stop over, so two flights in to DL and two flights home a week later. Two kids, 6 and 4. Any suggestions would be appreciated. (We have bought them each a DVD player for the flights, travels toys etc etc... so I think we have the boredom factor covered.) We have autograph books, cameras, snacks, sweat shirts, rain gear, a blankie/stuffed animal for each, a journal for 6 yr old. Im so worried about them, Im sure Ill forget my own clothes!
MANY THANKS!!!!!

Is all you dining that needs to be reserved sorted? Have you booked any special tours, Discover the Magic Tour sounds like it would be perfect for your party. I am going to print of some colouring pages of my daughters favourite characters for colouring on the page, if your children are inclined they can give them as presents to the relevant character.

I have an excel spreadsheet that I list the hours of DL and DCA, and also of any particular events that we're interested in.

The calendar on Disney's website provides some good info and hours.

It helps me plan out our time there - 2 or 3 events to schedule around, and fit the rides in somewhere! :teeth:

Like CindyH, I'm going to try to come up with a schedule for each day, so that we can fit in all the things we want to do, but also keep the schedule loose enough to accomodate the needs and moods of two kids under age 5.

The coloring pages are a great idea, we'll do that, too. I found great journaling pages in the WDW section (I forget where, sorry!), but they are geared toward WDW; however, some of the pages are generic. Would love to see someone make these kinds of things for Disneyland (ie. journal pages with Disneyland 'lands', trivia questions for Disneyland - These are awesome!)

I'm creating a notebook of my notes (from info from the boards and from a few guidebooks), so I'll bring that. A journal for myself to keep track of events of the day. Addresses to send postcards to grandparents. Extra film/memory cards for camera. In fact, I need to start creating a list of all the items I need to pack, because I also tend to forget something at home!
