Couldn't get my son in the tub last night....

so I filled it with bubble bath and threw in 2 of those light up ice cubes we got at the Sci-FI Dine in last trip. It looked so cool! He stayed in 'till it was cold-

That's a neat idea! DD loves her bath but if we ever have a problem, I think this would work well!

Saw this thread and thought hmmm...this would be a good group to ask.

My son LOVES the bathtub and water. But he won't sit! He stands up and plays around. He's 18 months old and I have no idea how to get him to sit. He's much too big for the kiddie tub with the ring (which would force him to sit).

Suggestions?

I babysat a little girl a few years ago...same thing, she always liked to stand in the tub! Her mom started taking her out every time she stood up...then put her back in and sat her down, praised her for sitting down, etc.... after about 3 baths it worked and since she was pretty consistent, the next time i babysat the little girl did not try to stand at all! maybe do something like that (not necessarily taking her out of the tub, maybe only giving a special toy if she is sitting) and if you are consistent, i bet it will work! good luck!
