Could you please help me?

I am in the process of planning our trip over winter break. I have ADR for dinner at Boma, Ohana, Garden Grill, and a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Right now I also have a lunch ADR at Crystal Palace. When I was talking over the plans with DS 10, he wasn't thrilled with Crystal Palace. I have to say that last year when we went, neither was DH or I. I took the ADR because it was in MK, and we are spending our last day at MK.

Since we are driving, we don't have a specific time to start our drive back to Philly. Can anyone suggest a place we should try for lunch before we leave. A character one would be fun, but it's not a deal breaker. It would be more convenient to stay near MK because we may drive our car over for the EMH. (Is parking free if you are staying onsite?) If not, we are staying at POR. I would appreciate any help you could give!

DH and I like Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch. The kids prefer dinner there because of the characters. DH and I like the more relaxed atmosphere at lunch. On our last trip there we were celebrating our anniversary and it was listed on our reservation. When we were seated there was MM confetti on the table in the shape of a heart. Also for dessert our waiter brought us a cupcake with a candle, an anniversary celebration certificate and several waiters/waitresses sang Happy Anniversary to us. They really made it special for us. Oh yeah.....the food was delicious too!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you given any consideration to lunch at downtown disney? The new T-rex restaurant will be open by then, although I read on the DIS that reservations will not be taken until January, so it might be a long wait? Another idea near MK maybe taking the boat over to WL and eating at Whispering Pines, which might be fun for your son. You could also eat at the Poly or CR, but I see that you already have ADR's for those locations. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks for your replies. Last night DH and I looked over the restaurants and the locations to see where we might like to try. We narrowed it down to..

Ohana's, Cape May Cafe, or Kona for a late breakfast or Whispering Canyon Cafe for a late lunch. Of course it depends on where we can even get a ressie, but which order would you try to get them in. (We are going to Ohana's for dinner one night so I'm not sure if we should go back to a place we are already trying, but I've also heard good things about the breakfast too...)

We have enjoyed the O'hana breakfast as well as Cape May.
