I don't think it is quite as difficult to get the reservations now that the price has gone up and they make you pay in full at the time of the reservation.

But,
when I called for CRT, I called at 6:55 am and kept dialing until it rang through. I have always gotten my ADRs doing this. We have gone every trip - until this year when they have priced me out of the market. Also, this is one time when I call the dining number directly (1-407-WDW-DINE) instead of the 800 number. I also would call using my house phone and my cell phone at the same time to increase my chances. Usually one or the other got through and I would just hang up the second.

When someone answers, just shout out "Cinderella Table, Party of 4, July 6, any time" or whatever your situation is.

When I called a couple of weeks ago to make my resort reservation the CM asked if I wanted to make any ADRs. I told her I needed to make one for CRT but thought I couldn't call until 5/31 (I didn't realize it had changed to 180 days out). She said I could and checked. I had my pick of times on the day that I wanted - a Sunday no less!!

I was all prepared for the frantic 7:00 a.m. (or in my case 6:00 a.m.) phone call to 407-WDW-Dine, but I didn't need to!
