I wouldn't have a problem flying on the 13th. This year I even contemplated flying on 9/11, but my mom and daughter wanted no part of it.

I've flown on several Friday the 13ths and I flew on 9/11/08. It's never occurred to me to NOT fly on a day I need to.

People thought I was nuts when I flew out of Boston exactly 2 weeks after 9/11. That didn't bother me. Neither does flying on the 13th. I'm more likely to get hit by a car crossing the street every day than being involved in a plane crash.

I hate flying on any day but I do it. I'd be wearing my panties inside out, carrying my green scapular and rabbits foot. Friday the 13th is just like any other day, I don't believe in superstitions

I try not to fly on any Friday beacuase the prices are so much higher.

We actually prefer leaving and returning on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, to save money, but DH has so little vacation time, he's often stuck doing the "leave Friday - return Sunday" thing.

Seriously, I'd never give it a second thought. Or even a first thought. Go and have fun!

Not only would I fly on Friday the 13th, I would arrange to be seated in 13D... as 13E is the least-often occupied seat. Barring availability in FC, of course...
