We recently took our first trip to Disney (ok, I went once in 1984!) with our 4 dd's. Our 5yo has a mild case of Cerebral Palsy. She can walk and if I didn't tell you so, you'd probably never notice. However, she tires very easily and clearly DisneyWorld is a ton of walking. I called customer service prior to our trip to find out what options were available for her. The gentelman said to go to guest services at whichever park we were at and she would get a handicap pass similar to a fast pass. When we arrived guest services told me this was not the case and they no longer used "handicap fast passes." Because we did have our own personal umbrella stroller along with the rental that they could give us a stroller=wheelchair tag to keep on our stroller.
I will say that it did come in very handy for the long lines, that she could never have stood in. And I appreciated not having a melting down mess at each attraction. But I'm wondering......should we have done anything different?
