Alright, so here's the deal: Only two days a Disney. Tragic, I know, but it has to be like that if we're gonna see everything we want to in Orlando (Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios,) So, I was wondering if anyone could help me with my planning, because so far it doesn't seem like it could work....

October 14 (Friday):
Spend the day at MK, see everything we want to, take our time, and whatnot.

October 15 (Saturday):
Nearly kill ourselves getting to EPCOT early in the morning to do Mission: SPACE, Test Track, Soarin' (if the line isn't extremely long), and Journey Into Imagination. After that, we'll head over to MGM to do...well, basically all the major rides. Tower of Terror, Rock n' Rollercoaster, Muppets:3D, Star Tours, The Great Movie Ride....we might even do the Backlot Tour, if we can find it (long story short, we got lost)!! Then, we'll see Fantasmic. Missed it last time, am very determined to see it this time.

October 16 (Sunday):
Universal Studios today.....get up late, drive over, ride everything. Then we'll go over to MK for MNSSHP.

October 17 (Monday):
Islands of Adventure. Repeat of Sunday, without MNSSHP. Wake up late, ect.

Can we do it? Are there snags in the plan? What are your opinions?

I can tell you on a Wednesday we got to Islands of Adventure at 9AM when they opened and completed the park by 12noon. If you have kids who want to play in the playground area and do some of the kid rides or re-ride stuff then it might take you longer. The park is not that big at all. I also know that some people have done IoA and Univeral in one day. So when you go to IoA you might have time afterwards to go do something else.

Also have you been on the Great Movie Ride at MGM? If you haven't and aren't into movies much skip this. The line probably won't be long but the ride is about 10 minutes and is kinda boring. Other than that sounds fine.

The back lot tour, while great to see, is very time consuming. Need to budget about 45 minutes just for the "tour", plus what ever the wait is.
