I have a large family and within the family are other not blood members but people in our lives we truly consider family.

We have not 1 but 2 "family members" in the hospital right now. My Uncle John who is my grandma's bil has fluid building in his lungs amoung other problems. He is having major anxiety as well. He's not eating now either. My aunt says things are looking very bleak for him....

And my grandma's best friend who's been a close member of the family since before I was born is also in the hospital. She's been diagnosed with a blood cancer of some sort. She is apparantly in a whole bunch of pain. Her chance of survival looks really good but we hate to see her in such pain. She lost her husband a year ago and her mother 6 months ago....

So if anyone can offer some good thoughts, prayers or pixie dust, i'd be most appreciative. I'm proud of my 6 year old, she goes to a Catholic school and she told me she went to school today and asked her teacher if their class could offer prayers to Uncle John and Nancy today.

Yes, Melissa. They are in my prayers and sure do hope they are doing well again, soon. Always tough when loved ones are aching.
