Could use some advice on summer holiday

This year due to school year and work vacation 'black out' periods, I chose the week after the kids get out of school (their last day is Thursday 5-26 and I'd like for us to fly out on Friday). I could actually choose anytime in June, but I was thinking that the further into June, the more the crowds pick up. However Memorial weekend and the gay pride event may make this particular week pretty crowded. Could anyone comment if I would gain/lose anything by waiting until the follwing weekend to arrive??

I have not been there during this specific week however being a teacher I do know school schedules. The best way to think about it is this, each week you postpone schools all over the country are finishing up and more people are going on vactions. In my state kids do not get out until between the second and third week of June. But in FL most schools are finishing the week of memorial day. I am not sure of other states but I do know around me most parents head out on vacation as soon as their child is out of school. If we could go the week you are scheduled to I would be there in a heart beat.
