Can someone confirm if this is right, or if the info I have in incorrect? If I buy one Premier Annual Pass, I think I can use it for a 15% discount on our multi-day tickets and a 30% discount on the hotel. Here are the numbers I came up with:

Trip Dates: March 7-11
Premier Annual Pass: $260

Use AP to purchase 3 day tickets at a 15% discount
Adult: $136 - 15% = $115.60
Child: $124 - 15% = $105.40
TOTAL for 2 adult tickets & 1 child ticket: $336.60

Use AP to get 30% off onsite hotels
4 nights at Royal Pacific Resort
$260/night - 30% = $182/night
TOTAL for 4 nights: $728

TOTAL for hotel & tickets: $1324.60

(Plus a 10% discount on some dining & souvenirs)

If I purchase hotel & tickets without getting the annual pass...
3-day Tickets, 3 adult & 1 child ticket: $532
4 nights at Royal Pacific Resort: $1,040
TOTAL: $1,572

Can anyone tell me for sure if this info is correct? Thanks!

You are not guaranteed a room discount with the AP. There are only a certain number of them available. Make sure you have your room reserved before you purchase the AP.

One thing you are doing incorrectly is estimating the price of the tickets. The price that you are using before you apply the AP discount is the online price and not the gate price. You must add $20 to each of the online prices before you take your 15% discount.

Okay, thanks for the info. I went back and checked the APH rate for my dates and it says that it isn't available for the hotel on those dates. Oh well, I had a feeling it was too good to be true!

Keep checking the RPR prices. We've stayed there three times and the prices changed frequently. If it changed to cheaper, then I called up and they honored the cheaper price. It was $169 our last trip in Jan 2010, which is actually the most I've paid there. However, that was before WWoHP so I wouldn't be surprised if it costs more now. It was easy to find it for $209 then - so watch, watch, watch. I don't have any special discounts other than what was on-line.

For our trip before that, we got it for only $149. But when we went to check in, we were told that they had never seen it that low before and still had our old agreed upon rate in the computer. Luckily, I had printed out the confirmation with the $149 rate on it and they agreed to it. So, keep checking and make sure to print it out if you do get a rate change.

I don't think APH rates are out yet for those dates.

The AP rates aren't out for your dates yet, you should reserve your room and then wait to see what the AP rates are when it gets closer. I think it's about 3 months out for your dates, you don't need to actually have the AP until you check in.

I did this for our December trip and our price at Royal Pacific went from $197 to $134 so worth the price of the AP to me. I did end up buying our tickets from Undercover Tourist, they were cheaper than even the %15 off at the gate, $124 for a 2 day ticket, includes tax and shipping. I did use the Mousesavers newsletter link to get that price.
