Could this be a good sign (re: email discount)

I wasn't fortunate enough to get an email discount in my mail recently. I don't have a really big balance due on my ressies ($122.77) and figured I might as well call and make another payment on it. I hadn't intended on paying it off yet, but did tell the CM I wanted to make a payment. She looked at my ressie and said to me, "I see you have a balance of $122.77. Are you sure you want to pay this off now? Once the ressie is paid in full, you can't change it anymore." She told me I could make a payment but really didn't want me to pay it off! Am I just imagining things or does it sound like she KNOWS something is coming??? Am I just suffering from the "got no email blues"?

I hope that is a good sign. I too am still waiting for an e-mail or a general discount code for our Oct. trip.

I would definitely wait until the last minute to pay off your reservation. Just keep your $122.77 in the bank for a few months. Certainly a code will come up for those of us who didn't get one yet.

Did anyone get an e-mail lately? Today, 8/5?
Are they still coming?

Got an email today for AP specials till the end of Sept. but the link they provided was down and the AP site was also "experiencing difficulties" so I couldn't even get any info.

The only price the email showed as an example was AKL for
$ 151. with code EWK.
Didn't seem like that much a bargin.

There is lots of info for who got what using EWK on the resorts board. For instance, personally, I got a FW cabin for my sister (who doesn't like to call Disney herself) for something like $149. a night. Her 'rack rate' for the cabin was $239! She also has a one night stay in PC that went from $77 to $49! IF ONLY they would send something to the rest of us!!

No, I didn't see anything in my email box from Disney today. I keep looking..................

I am guessing that the emails are a predictor that Disney is trying to put butts in the seats this fall. Let's hope that very soon some lovely codes will come out that rival their "dog days of summer" codes.

i made our ressie in march.....paid it off in may, and have made alot of changes to it.....adding AAA discount, etc and i never had a problem making chamges, i have a large room credit now LOL thanks to this buget board $303.00
