Could they offer on QS ddp for moderates when free dining comes out?

We are booked at the dolphin but would consider changing to POR if free dining came out. We are coming down in September. I would only change if regular dining is offered. Is it possible (mean probable) for them to only offer quick service dining for the moderates?

The free dining offer PIN that was sent out in Janaury for travel in March and April had QSDP for moderates. September is traditionally a slower period, so maybe you will luck out!!

Sure it's possible but u can take the qs discount and upgrade to regular and pay the difference which is still a nice discount

Ive done this-- I booked at a value with free QS upgraded to DDP. Its cheaper than booking a mod or deluxe just for the free dining.

It really depends on the size of your family if it's cheaper to upgrade to a mod or stay at a value and upgrade to the DDP. If my family of 4 with two kids ages 15 and 11 upgrade from value to a mod that has free DDP the cost is about $350 for 7 nts. If we stay at a value with free QSDP and upgrade to the DDP ( $64 a day times 7) the cost is $448.

It seems that more often the mods are getting quick service instead of table service with the FD pins. I guess it's another cutback by Disney, as they figure a good number of families may pay to upgrade dining plans.

The FD offer last Fall for Canadian residents for 2012 was regular DDP for the Mods and Deluxes and QSDP for the values. Hoping that is the case this year too. If not, it's offsite for us without question.

It hasn't been done before for US public offers, but that does not mean that it isn't a possibility. It was only a couple of years ago that the values were changed to quick service free dining.

Anything's possible, but I think that the FD pins have usually had QSDP for mods and then the general public offer had regular dining for mods.

I booked the FD bounceback for Sept. 2012 while there last year. It was Basic DDP for the FD for a moderate. That doesn't mean it will be when the GP offer comes out though.
